Linoleum Printmaking 1-Day Workshop (12 years old to adult): Where: Arts Workshop Room at the 1912 Center in Moscow, ID When: Thursday, July 20th 11:30am-2:30pm Cost: $60- ($35 +$25 materials fee) All materials are included.
This will be a 1-day, 3-hour workshop teaching the basics of linoleum printmaking. Students will design their plate, carve it with a linoleum tool, and print their plate with ink. All materials will be provided. This is a great class to do with your teenager or to give as a fun gift for a friend. Students must be at least 12 years old and able to handle a sharp tool.

This class is the chance learn how to use a sketchbook for experimenting, drawing quickly, planning, journaling, using mixed medias, and just making some beautiful artwork. There will be a 14-day drawing challenge along with three in person classes. Students must be at least 12 years old. Drawing Class in Black and White- 3 Week Class (13 years old to adult): Where: Arts Workshop Room at the 1912 Center in Moscow, ID When: Thursdays, August -3-17th at 9-10:30am Cost: $60 Students are responsible to bring their own supplies for this class (See Materials List below the class). This is a beginner drawing class to help students gain skills in drawing still lives. Learn to draw what you see and see what to draw. This class will include a 14-day drawing challenge as well as three in person classes. Class One: Contour line drawing and accurate shapes Class Two: Draw shadow shapes and understand value Class Three: Refine your drawings with details

Bookbinding 4-week Class
This is a course designed to teach students the process of handmaking books. From binding together pages of paper and creating a cover and spine students will learn a step by step way to make various types of books. Students will start with booklet binding and move to creating hardcover books with and without spines. The class requires cutting with a sharp box cutter or exacto knife as well as basic sewing for binding books. Students should create 4 books by the end of class.
